The Microsoft Kinect UK’s launch date has been confirmed, the Kinect will go on sale on November 10th 2010.
The Kinect is the new controller-free, motion sensor game system that connects to the 360 console. It uses a camera to track the user’s movements on screen and unlike the Nintendo Wii, it is controller-free. Nintendo began the motion-sensor phenomenon 4 years ago with its Wii which has now sold more than 74 million consoles world-wide.

The new 360 Slim out this Friday is a similar shape to previous Xbox models; however the Slim is finished in a gloss black with Chrome trimming around the side. The first noticeable improvement is weight; the Slim is considerably lighter, weighing only 2kg and as the name suggests the console is slimmer and sleeker than before.
