Microsoft Zune, the entertainment service is to launch in the UK alongside the launch of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7. Although the new handset has no official release date, the service will allow its user to download both music and videos from a variety of sources; including Windows phone 7 handsets, PC’s and the 360 console.

The Nokia N8 will be available to the UK market on October 1st. The N8 first announced back in April, is based on the Symbian 3 operating system and includes a 12mp camera. The N8 will be available through the Carphone Warehouse, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, 3, Virgin, Vodafone, Tesco’s and Phones4u

From the 5th October, Orange and T-mobile will merge networks to create Everything Everywhere. This move will mean that customers on both networks will be able to roam across both Orange and T-mobile for free.
