HTC Legend: Exclusive to Vodafone
Vodafone have today announced that they will be the sole UK network provider of the HTC Legend. The HTC Legend is the successor to HTC Hero, and is expected to be launched in April alongside the Desire.
The HTC Desire is the HTC branded Nexus One, and if the reports are true, it is likely that the Desire will hit the shops before the branded Nexus One is available. The duo of phones will run on Android 2.1.
The Legend incorporates a full-aluminium chassis and high resolution OLED screen. The trackball used in the Hero, has been replaced by a sleek optical trackpad, and also incorporates a mini USB connection, meaning a universal charger can be used. A 5M camera allows for auto focus and flash facilities, as well as windscreen photo capture and geo-tagging.
Expected to be released next month on Vodafone, it is likely that the Legend will be available on contract from £30-£35 a month.
