Sony Sneak Peak at X Series Vaio
Sony has just held a press conference in Berlin, unveiling several new products and the brand direction for the coming year. On display for introduction were a new camera, laptop and Smartphone.
The X Series Vaio Laptop was briefly shown off at the end of the show, with no official announcement yet arranged, the conference was the first ‘showing off’ of the new Vaio. Head of Sony Europe, Fujio Nishida, showed off the Vaio’s black carbon fibre exterior, less than 1.5 pounds of weight, and 11.1-inch screen. Nishida stated that the laptop will have built-in-wireless 3G and an extremely long battery life.
Apart from those basic specs, no internal details were given, nor the expected price or release, but from the look of the Vaio’s exterior, this is definitely one laptop we will be looking out for. Sony is one of the only brands in the market today capable of competing with the functionality and stylish outer looks that the Apple Macbook offers.
