Sony Ericsson W705 due for launch
Hot on the heels of the C510 Cybershot we reported last week, Sony Ericsson are due to release thir latest Walkman phone to the public.
The WF705 is another slider model, looking sleek and very nice to handle in its brushed metal guise. The handset is geared very much towards the music aficionado and comes complete with:
- - 2.4″ QVGA display capable of showing up to 256K colors
- - 3.2mp camera
- - FM radio with RDS.
- - Quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G support
- - Wi Fi
The Sony Ericsson W705 features Shake control and SensMe and has 120 MB of internal memory which can be extended by M2 card slot.
SensMe lets you create playlists based on your mood and the Shake control lets you change track or volume with a flick of your wrist (similar to the accelerometer in the latest iPod Shuffles). The FM radio lets you tune into all your favurites stations and RDS ensures you pick up the very best signal.
The W705 is set to be shipped with a premium set of headphones so you should be able to experience the very best sounds from this litle beauty. Sony Ericsson’s new music store, lets you download the latest tracks straight to your phone and lots of different filetypes are fully supported.
Wi-Fi connectivity is fully covered and you won’t miss out on any of your friends online antics as the W705 lets you stream directly from popular media sharing websites including YouTube.
Expected for launch in March, the Sony W705 will be available in Luxury Silver and Passionate Red colour versions.
