Blackberry Storm Thunders in
The Blackbery Storm (originally called the Thunder) is due for release early in November. With speculation rife about the features it will include, more information and pictures are being leaked by the minute about how feature-packed this beauty from RIM will actually be.
As we highlighted in our previous Blackbery Thunder blog post the new Storm will go up against the Apple iPhone, Nokia Tube 5800 XpressMusic and the Android coming complete with touch screen controls (all bar four tiny buttons on the unit’s base). It will have an 8GB memory card with the option of expanding to 16GB and include a similar feature to the iPhone accelerometer enabling the devide to be switched from portrait to landscape whenever the mood takes you.
Available exclusively through Vodafone, there are suggestions that the tariffs will be set at around £35 a month for an 18-month contract with the handset thrown in for free.
Also included is a 3.2MP camera with video shooting, flash and zoom, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, media player, pre-loaded DataViz Documents to Go software(for Office-friendly editing). Oh, and if you already have an Apple iPhone and you have dreamt of being able to copy and paste text – well RIM seemed to have that feature licked and is well and truly part and parcel of the phone main functionality.
This will be one drop dead gorgeous and feature packed phone to add to your Christmas list.
