Computer supplier Dell announced the biggest change to its laptop line in years with seven new E-series Latitude laptops including the world’s slimmest, lightest and longest lasting ultra portable mobile, the Dell E4200. Designed to provide mobile business users with improved battery life, usability and durability the new range of Latitude and Precision laptops are being shown off for the first time.

At 1kg, the 12.1 inch E4200 is the lightest commercial notebook Dell has manufactured to date and represents the firm’s entry into the popular mini laptop market. It is due out in the coming weeks. Best of all is the battery life. Dell have packed a massive 19 hours worth of juice into its battery pack which means you can work all day and almost all night on a single charge.

The E4200 will be available in a choice of colours Regal Red, Blue, Black and Pink!!.

Alongside the flagship product is the 14.1 inch E6400 and 15.4 inch E6500, both available from Dell right now, are built for high performance users and are priced from £579 and £599 respectively.

Dell’s E6400 ATG is a 14.1 inch semi-rugged laptop that starts at £1,169 and is built to stand up to even the toughest conditions.
