Will the new 3G iPhone be quicker than broadband?
A senior executive of the Australian mobile phone service provide, Telstra, has announced that the new 3G Apple iPhone will offer amazing connection speeds of up to 42Mbps on its mobile network by Christmas 2008.
An amazing claim if it is true and one in which will have iPhone newbies clamouring for the new phone. Telstra say: “We know what is coming we have seen the new device and it will be available on our network as soon as it is launched in the USA.
“By Xmas this phone will be capable of 42mbs which will make it faster than a lot of broadband offerings and the fastest iPhone on any network in the world.”
We can’t wait to see if those claims are true – so roll on launch date of June 9th.
